    Scope Covers - Scopecoat?

I'm looking for a cover for my new Vortex scope, and wanted to see if anyone uses the Scopecoat covers. I started with a Butler Creek bikini cover, but didn't really like it with the rubber rim of the Vortex. The neoprene type covers look pretty good, so I thought I'd see about giving them a shot.

Anyone use this type of cover? Anyone have one they don't use that they'd make me a deal on?

I bought the neoprene type at Academy for about $7. I like it pretty good, it's worth a shot for the price.

      ScopeShield scope cover

I used these last year for the first time. They are built for hunters. Instantly remove but don't drop off the rifle either. You can look at scopeshieldalaska.com. Threw away all my flip-ups and replaced them with these.

Holy cow! I saw this thread, and thought I'd posted in my sleep or something because I didn't have any memory of it.

Glad it's because the post was from 2009, and not because I'm losing my mind!
