I’ll shoot once a week from January to June or so. I try to shoot 2-3 times a week from Mid summer until season starts.

I normally get rolling mid July. My springtime, I usually swap the bow out for the golf clubs.

I hunt all year long so I try to shoot all year long.

I shoot about 10 arrows the week before a hunt. It's like riding a bike. I'd like to shoot more but don't have the time right now.

I'm curious now, for all yall folks who pick your bows up right before season, what's yalls max range and what sort of groups are you getting?

Just started back up. Definitely a perishable skill. All over the place starting out.

I start shooting around the beginning of August. I don’t practice past 40, mostly 20-30 yard range. I try not to make my setups where there is any shot past 25 yards, that way there is no temptation. Whitetails can be so jumpy and quick, I don’t see how anyone could shoot at one past 40 yards. As far as grouping, at 20 I shoot for 1”. At 30, 2”, and at 40 I really don’t care, just do it for kicks. At 40 i can keep it in the bigger dots on my target, which are probably 3-4” if I had to guess.

                            Thanks!

I know my shooting falls apart past 30 if I don't practice regularly so I was curious where other folks are.

Practice at 20, I'll shoot a few 10 rings at 40 just to make sure sights still on. Basically between now and opening day I'll shoot a couple of dozen times each weekend. Feeder is within 20 yds from ladder stand. Every deer, turkeys or hogs have been 20 or less for me to stick.

How many follow my practice schedule?

This is me to a tee for whitetail hunting. This year I’ve been shooting already as I got a new rig for my elk hunt. Shooting out to 70 yards has rejuvenated my desire to shoot again. I will be moving out to 100 yards in about 2 weeks when I move to my new home.
