    New pond Fish structures

If you were having a pond built do you put any kind of DIY structures for the fish? Looking for ideas? Thanks in advance.

I'd take a five gallon bucket and fill it up 3/4 full of sack Crete. Shove several pieces of 3/4" poly tubing in it so they stick out of the top. They make a commercial version but I'm betting you can build it cheaper.

Wonder if you could use something like pex that would be smooth and snag less lures

That’s exactly what we did. We also sank used Christmas trees.

The worst thing you can do is make a round pond with level bottom and no definition. Basically a catfish pit. Put some contours in the shoreline, shelf the edges to give shallows and deep areas. If you can find some huge old logs drag them in and stake them down. then you have created an all-weather fish factory.
