It’s actually an inverse correlation.



You will hear Bama fans use the term exactly zero times.



You will hear Texas fans use it 43,576 times each season, and oddly, occurrences skyrocket with each new humiliating loss.



Just one of those “the sun will rise, the sun also sets” deals.

Man you can substitute a few words for “the term” here and it’s Aggies delusion to a “T”

-We’re in the SEC gauntlet

-Becoming more relevant with program changing losses

-Strength of schedule rah rah

-2012-2013 makes us a top team in Texas but Texas is the one living off history.

If it helps ease the confusion for all you horns and tshirt horns chiming in,

Texas has been irrelevant to the college football scene since the 2004/2005 Rosebowl in which some borderline brain-dead guy that's now bankrupt and living in his mom's basement played great.
