Had a great morning with my nephew

My nephew has been wanting to go fishing so I decided I’d take him today to beat the crowds.

I got out on the lake caught bait set jug lines at 330am my brother and nephew met me at the ramp at 645 am. We didn’t make it far down the line and had fish in the jugs.

We only managed 6 before it got too hot but he had a blast.

Yeah 6 fish yielded an gallon of fillets not bad at all.

We would have gotten a lot more but bait was extremely hard to find.

Cut shad is the key for me. I hardly ever get any on perch.
