Android 9.0 and or Bixby SUCK!!!!

Phone recently updated to Android 9.0
Looks likes it geared towards kids with all the funky colors and ugly text. Totally dislike it!!

I'm in Mesquite off of 80 & Big Town BLVD. Sitting in my truck finishing up my paperwork so I can head in.
I look out my driver's side window and see a big Bobcat.
I double tap the lock button to bring up my camera. It's in Selfie mode. Kyle don't like Selfie's. I swipe up to go back to regular camera. Bixby vision screen pops up. Kyle had been trying to kill Bixby for YEARS!!!! I cancel sign in to Samsung a count.to allow bixby.
Finally get it closed. Still in selfie mode :mad, blood squirting out my ears mad: I swipe up again , BIXBY again. I get out of it. Finally managed to get camera open, but it wants to selective focus NO! TAKE A PICTURE! swipe to the side to get to CAMERA. it goes to panorama and wants me to s l o w l y move the camera NO NO NO! I WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE. A simple picture of this Bobcat. By the time I get it to Camera all I get is this crappy picture.
He was literally 10 yds from me when I saw him. Like 50 by the time I got the camera to work.

Bixby might be the single reason why my next phone won’t be a Samsung.

Make sure Bixby Vision is NOT the default camera app on your phone.

From going through this on my S10+ I feel your pain. Wanted to hurl it through a wall.
Seems like my girl had to join/install/allow something in order to turn it off. She has way more patience than me.

I left iPhone cause I couldn't view my Trail Cam Pictures.
I had a Galaxy S1 when the first came out way way way way back when :-)
I loved it.
I had a iPhone 4 after dropping it a gatrillion times my OtterBox fell apart on me. I bought a new OtterBox. 2 weeks later battery quit holdi g a charge. I should have replaced the battery. Instead I replaced the phone. I got the S8 Active. Don't get me wrong the phone is great. Been dropped, kicked, drop kicked, submerged, sweat soaked and a creepers rolled down the side of it. It's still working and holding a charge. Just don't like, nay despise anything Bixby. I had bx Actions that would at least kill the button. With upgrade the bxactio doesn't work

I'll check out the link when I get home.

Well I was curious and started reading the article.
I quit when it says must login to Samsung account. Don't have, want, need or have any use for a Samsung acct.

Here's a puzzler. I went to update my Clock. It needs access to my Contacts? Why? It's a clock, it tells time.......

They sell flip phones @ Walmart. Been seriously thinking of downgrading to one.....
