    Sod Pallet Cost?

What should I expect to pay for a pallet of sod (zoysia) and how many sq fit does a pallet typically cover?

I don’t remember how much it cost me 8 years ago but I can tell you this, I will pay whatever I have to to never have to lay sod again on my own!!! That was the worse thing I’ve ever done in my life. I was in great shape at the time and my body didn’t like the work. I hurt like hell for days afterworlds.

Around 420 sq ft a pallet. Cost should 150-200. Depends on variety you buy

I’m wanting to sod this little area. Near as I can tell is about 500 sq ft.

I take that back now seeing this pic lol. You could do that lil section with no problem. Be a lil tired but not like I was. I did my entire back yard. Used 11 pallets before it was said and done

Pallets either come in 400 or 600sf and are $240+ for the smaller pallet. If you can find zoysia at $200 or less I wouldn’t buy it

Laying it isn’t bad with the right equipment. Had a left over pallet and laid it in about 30 minutes. Biggest thing is watering. Make sure you water every day for an hour at least when you first lay it for a week. Also, make sure grass is fresh. You don’t want something that has been sitting on a pallet for days in sun.

The pic may not show it for what it is but it looks like about 270-300 square feet.

I just laid 12 pallets of Bermuda last week. Cost me $92 a pallet from Horizone Grass Farm. They have a farm in Clay, Calvert and Wharton. If I remember correctly he said everything they had was $110 a pallet for anything under 10 pallets.

I'm shocked if that's anywhere near 500sq ft. Half a pallet. Looks like it's already halfway prepped. Till it and lay it!

I once laid two 18 wheeler loads. I was a little sore
The next day. Me and my daughter laid a pallet about two weeks ago and it was about 160.00.

X2. Make sure it's fresh and water.

I put down zoysia last spring and it was about $240 per pallet. Each pallet was 450 sq ft. I’m the only one in my neighborhood with it and my neighbors still stop by and ask what it is. It looks great.
