Update:

They have taken my sister off of her ventilator and she is able to breath on her own and they are lowering her off of her sedation meds to see how she reacts. We are just working on small victories right now, the war is far from over, but my sister is a fighter.

Thank you again everyone for your prayers.

I showed this thread to my parents and they were in tears, like myself, of the outpouring of support from the members of this site.

Update:

The neurologist was just here and stimulated her and she tried to grab her ventilator tube which is an awesome sign!!! The doctor did say she is not out of the woods but this was a very positive sign regarding her brain function.
