I hope you get em. I think we might have some under our doublewide, I have killed a few in the yard, but my wife won’t let me crawl under to find out. And I thank her for that.

We have a den under our ranch house, have killed too many to count over the past 20 years in the yard, have to be really careful in the spring and the fall, we have had 4 get into the house, my partner thinks he has all the holes sealed up now, I have been seriously thinking about building me a barndo out there.

Oddly enough I just got a call and someone needs me to come crawl under their house to get a rattlesnake.
The last time I got a call to go under a house I had to get a cat. Honestly I'd rather deal with a snake. That cat bit the crap out of me.Last edited by okrattler; 07-28-2019, 12:26 PM.

The thing about cats is they pretend to be your friend. I thought it was friendly. When I go in after a snake I already know the snake don't like me so I have to be careful. Cats are backstabbers.

Do you have any suggestions?
This snake has the circumference of a can of corn. Probably has feasted on a rabbit or ten but didn't have any bulge on him on his destination.
I'm surprised that the snake continued his course despite a freshly cut lawn, blaring music from a bluetooth job site rocker, noise and fumes from a generator, and all the girlish screams from me. I think he was on his way home to a den.
Anyways, we didn't see him afterwards, despite gasoline and large deposits of Snake Away.
The remainder of our deer camp comprised of looking twice before stepping.
Prior to departure we setup a trail camera pointing down to his entry/exit point. I'll post an update on our next return, opening dove season.
Does anyone have snake video on a trail camera?
