Fishing Swivel Question ?

I've done some searching but haven't found exactly what these swivels/snaps are called; anyone have the exact term? "sliding snaps" gets you a bunch of plastic ones via google. Hoping to find these in stainless, if anyone knows what they are called or where I can find them online.

Thats the closest thing I’ve found, thanks. It looks like they are used for spear fishing stringers. Cabelas carries an Eagle Claw stringer with these on a coated cable, but they are pretty cheap chinese snap swivels and I cant seem to find any that have that sleeve in the picture.

I’m not a fan of swivels but if I’m pulling baits I will sometimes use a quality barrel. They are about $15 each though and I still don’t trust them

That looks to me like just a stainless barrel/crane and locking snap swivel with a snap ring attached, to a brass wire sleeve. The sleeve is to be pinched onto the cable to lock it in place. They would be easy to put together from individual components.



The locking snap looks like one from one of my metal fish stringers. Only the pic has to be smaller cause my stringer snaps are huge.





After doing a little reading, it appears that rig is called a sinker slide? Also Swivel Sleeve? There are several types out there.
