    Taking notes here
    Ours is being built now.
    Slab with a hole in the middle and a drain
    I wanted the fire low (shorter walls) and the heat to be felt from a small fire.
    Probably more dangerous with little ones .

      A well built gas/propane fire pit is nice and convenient. We plan on building one as we know we’ll get much more use out of it

        In. Ive got one similar to what brian posted but its round. It's about 50" across with a foot rail. Started life as a propane tank

        I'm gonna want something for the lake

            I was going to build a firepit and finally got tired of not getting around to it. I bought this at https://wilkes******pits.com in Conroe. They're a great outfit to work with.
