    How high can raccoons jump?

Without something to climb up or down, or anything to jump off of, how high could a raccoon jump to grab something to pull itself up?

    Thanks

If they can’t jump up to get it they usually get a boost from the 12 buddies he is running with.

How high is whatever you are trying to keep them off of?

But I have heard they have a very short vertical jump. They will have nothing to climb up or down with any where near it.

They may climb something nearby and shimmy over and drop down on that "something".

Gowan you be sure they can't climb to get what they want? Many moons ago I worked on well service workover rigs, more than once I've found coon poop on the tubing board 50' up and the road basket 75' up, these things are all metal large diameter material, not easy to climb, and no incentive for a coon to get up there other than to live up to the old saying. What they can't tear up, they'll $&** on!

Won’t be near anything to shimmy from.

They'll shimmy up then over and down. More times than not, they figure it out

They’ll bring a ladder or trampoline if necessary.
