    Photon RT/Wraith your experiences?

Hey all - thanks in advance for taking a few minutes to explain your thoughts, opinions, reviews, experiences, etc.

I've only read some great reviews of Sightmark's Wraith and Photon RT on the green screen. I've watch a few videos, albeit no in-depth reviews, but videos taken using the Wraith, and have been impressed. I understand there are better quality products in the $1,500+ area, but for a 1/3 of the cost, the products seem to be really good.

What are your personal experiences with these products? I asked a buddy at my local poker game last night what his thoughts were and he stated he has purchased 3 products from Sightmark and he was never impressed by any of the three. In fact, he said two of the three ended up breaking shortly after purchase.

He said that the products aren't designed very well because Sightmark doesn't have any patents, so they have to design their products in such a way that is functional but outside of a copyright issue, so they end up being very faulty and "goofy"...

I think in his specific purchase, he bought a pair of googles or something and not the scope.

    What are your thoughts?

I got one last week and spent some time last night daytime and nighttime playing with the parameters. The daytime view is actually really good and clear and could still see well looking at deer 9pm last night. The different reticles and color options is cool. Once dark I messed with the IR light that comes with it and there's 2 allen screws you loosen up to pivot the IR light while looking through the scope on a good rest. I had to maneuver it a little bit to find the sweet spot and once I did I tightened up the IR light and was able to see fence posts clearly at 150ish yards. I didn't have anything further to look at. But my initial impression is the parameters are extremely simple to operate and the focus adjustment is a little tight turning and the recording is a cool feature. For $500 plus a little extra $$ for external pack and rechargeable batteries it's a great deal.
Jason on here with Outdoor Legacy is a big help in input and answers.

I have a Wraith, and have been happy with it. I can't compare to the Photon, never had one. If you have been looking at youtube videos, you may have already seen mine. I have three videos on the Wraith from unboxing to hunting footage. I'm new to digital night vision, so my videos are from the perspecive af a new user. If you have not seen them, check them out. (easier than me trying to type out my expereince and opinions)
Here's the link to the first one, the others are easy enough to find from there.

I just bought a Wraith last weekend. Haven’t been able to get it on a gun yet, but will this weekend.
I watched a bunch of videos on it and on the ATN 4K. I have both but will be selling the ATN soon.
