Grinding Concrete?

I was wondering about this thread the other day. I bought a place that had a slab and I had a shop built on it. Where the rollup door is isn't level so you can see a small gap.

I had another contractor come in & grind it for about 18-20 hours. They could only get it so correct. Still looks like crap but better crap!

Its a process for sure, and very time consuming. You could use a grinder wheel to get the high spots then have someone self level after those spots are knocked down. These will remove a lot of material very quickly, VERY dusty unless you can keep the area wet but they work. labor intensive but its an option as well. Ive used both in different settings with good results.

The clown that did this work ended up filing a lawsuit against me for what was left on the contract even though he failed @ everything he did & never finished. I countered his suit. He lost. He got $0. I won $5,700. Even the judge told him he showed no workmanship. I can NOT recommend WeldRite Construction in Ellis county.

Dang dude.....you absolutely took it on the chin on that whole job Hopefully the loser gets what is coming to him in the end.

I was gonna say to start with a lawsuit instead of grinding, but looks like you got that taken care of. Congrats on the win.
