I have to agree with the many people on here who recommended Trout Trailers in Porter, after trying to get a trailer from a few other dealers a little closer to me and having no luck I called Trout. I ask about what I was needing and the lady says yea I have one on the lot! After a month of fighting with Texas Trailer Supply for a month ( 2 trailers built wrong and the third one was delayed for a week longer than they said) and checking McClain trailer on I10 and another dealer in Channelview which both said 2-8 weeks for delivery. Anyone needing a trailer in the Houston area don’t waste your time with anyone other than Trout’s. I also got a better trailer for about the same price (within $100 or so)

I had a great experience with trout. Just so people know, they don’t make the trailers anymore. They use Tiger trailer Co., at least for their smaller trailers.
They’re easy to deal with, good pricing, but it’s just an average trailer. You sacrifice some things buying their trailers, but you should know that going in considering they’re very economical.

I bought my 20' 12k lb GVW tandem utility from Trout 4-5 years ago. They were super nice people and had the best price for the trailer I needed. I will say, you get what you pay for though. I've had to re-weld the angle iron uprights between the frame and pipe top twice now because it was so thin and most of them cracked where they meet the trailer frame. It makes no sense to use such thin guage angle iron on a "Heavy Duty" trailer. My buddy's Big-Tex 16' has angle iron supports over twice as thick as mine on a lighter trailer. Other than that, it's been a great trailer.
