Okay I heard back from Covert customer service. They are claiming they fixed the issue with a firmware update. Here is the part that sucks, the firmware has to be updated physically from the camera in person. Firmware update cannot be done remotely. I guess I am driving out to the ranch this weekend to take care of it. Bummer.

The hogs I am after I shy and any human scent will keep them off feeders for days, another weekend where I probably wont be able to hunt.

    Firmware Update
    1. Turn camera into setup mode
    2. Let it fully connect to the network
    3. Hit menu
    4. Go over to your NET tab
    5. Go down to FW update and press OK then YES
    6. Let it reach 100% and follow the remaining steps that will show on the camera display screen.
    7. Once that's done you will need to upload and download your settings under the SYS tab.

To take a manual photo to make sure it is sending successfully to you APP.
    1. Press your SHOT button
    2. Press the OK button
    3. Hit menu
    4. Go down to send
    5. Wait the send progress hits 100% and check the App to see if the photo came through...If so, go ahead and turn your camera to the ON position and you should be good to go!

I just updated the one I have here at home seems to have worked. I was able to get a real time photo asap. Will be headed to my hunting lease this weekend so I will update the one out there. I think the coons or something pulled the external power cord on it last picture it sent I only has 38% battery and with my external battery set up it is always at 100%

Appreciate the update and guess they just issued the firmware update because that didn't resolve the issue Saturday or Sunday.

I have one that is effected and another that wasn't which is strange.

Will do the update and report back.

Edit --> Looks to have worked. Wonder if I should do the other camera..... And looks like the other camera stopped doing real time photos now. Guess it stopped when they did the firmware update and now have to update that one also.

Thanks for the well explained info! Covert customer service has been less than stellar for me resolving the issues.

What do you mean by uploading and downloading settings?

Apparently, the firmware update was released this morning so hopefully it fixes the problem for you. I have one camera that is down and the other is working fine, it is very odd.

You will have to re-enter your camera settings again. Trigger interval, sensitivity, etc...

Yotethumper- Thanks for the step by step once again!

I'm happy the update is working for everyone that has tried it. I have heard back from a dozen people on Facebook and it has worked for all of them. If only covert could find a way to do this type of firmware update automatically and remotely....
