Cattle rustling is still a hanging offence in Texas, correct?

Had a problem with rustling up here on the ranch we work on and neighbors, cattle association can get satellite pics that show the rustlers clear as day sometimes. I was skeptical but the former leasee confirmed they can. He saw some pics from the association that showed rustlers, guys that were know for such activities. Signs went stating activities were being monitored from the air, rustling stopped.

Hope they find them, brother in law lost several head back in the flood, they were located downstream in Oklahoma, several miles away. Another reason to use brands instead of ear tags.
