Which scope . . .

. . . for a .223 heavy barrel Super 14 Thompson Center Contender pistol. Got a pretty good deal on here and was wondering what everyone thought as far as the best scope to put on this pistol. I also have a .357 magnum barrel that I am thinking about putting a different scope on as well. Let's hear it. What are yall's thoughts? Thank you.

New Leupold your choice of power 2.5x8 would be my choice
Used Leupold or Burris (older models)
Or learn to shoot with a rifle scope and use what ever you want
