The ones on our place were rutting late dec/early jan. If I'm not mistaken the landowner said they had a set cycle.

I watched one running a doe around SATURDAY. He was READY TO GO ALSO!!!! He ran her for the 15 miutes I watched them

What is the meat like? Are does ok to shoot? We have some coming in and have never had them come in before. Just trying to get some info.

Very good to eat. Cook 'em just like deer. They turn into pests if you don't watch it!

Some of my buddies like it better than axis. i still prefer axis, but it is good.
