They salt them, dry them out, then crate them up and send them over. Little paperwork to do, but nothing major, just waiting sucks.

That'll just give you some time to save up for your taxidermy bill [emoji23][emoji1787][emoji23]

And Africa has cholla too? That sucks!
It has all sorts of stuff to stick you. Haha. Those PH’s are some tough guys walking through that crap with shorts on.

Yeah, I don’t think they were very excited every time we pulled up.

What about the travel sucked other than distance/length? I recently saw that somebody went straight from ATL direct to Jberg and that doesn’t seem terrible. My cousin is there right now and went from DFW to Qatar, the. Qatar to Jberg and that seems like a longer way to go and more miserable.
I’m not a big flyer so I hated the long flight and the layovers. We overnighted in Jberg at Afton house and it was very nice. We did the ATL flight and it’s long, but way better than stopping and starting twice.

It’s not as bad as you would think. It’s really a lot more bang for your buck than hunting anywhere else. Throwing in the buffalo added a chunk, but even with them we came out just a touch more than a nice Alaska moose or brown bear hunt and did a hell of a lot more shooting than you do on one of those hunts.
