You wouldn't know that spring was almost here yesterday morning driving to the lease. Ran thru some of the heaviest sleet storms I have seen in a while going thru Garza into Kent Cty. Roads were white, almost everything had ice on it and my truck was one solid sheet of ice when I got to the lease. Also saw lightning and heard thunder during these storms. By the afternoon, everything was clear, but chilly.

I can almost gaurantee that if the trees bud out up here, they will get bit because we are not done with our cold weather.

I hear ya haven't had that much since Sep. We are setup to catch rain at a rate that 1/2 inch will produce 450 gallons. We use it to make coffee, ice and cook beans only. We just ran out of rain water. It's pitiful.

I was told the true way to find out if spring is here is by looking at the mesquite trees.
