Yeah, I gotta ask who the taxi is too. They look great, and to have them ready that soon is nothing short of impressive. I dropped mine off at Seco in D'Hannis over a year ago, have been promised that they'd be ready many times, never got them, and can't get the guy on the phone.

Thanks fellas. My taxi's name is Tim Bunting in San Angelo, Texas. His business' name is Willecke Taxidermy... He came highly recommended and after seeing his work at a buddy's home and in his shop I decided to give Tim a shot. I was worried, as usual, going with a new taxi but he did not disappoint.

Man, that dude is quick ... I think I'll take him some of my stuff!

He told me 4 months on Homeboy when I dropped him off the first week of Oct. He said I would be in the first round of hides to be sent off and he was just finishing up his non-whitetail work. He told me 6-8 months on deer #2 but I guess when you know a guy that gives him 20 animals a year he does both of your deer at one time.

He hit the 4 month mark he estimated on deer #1 on the nose w/ a deer #2 kicker added in....

Looks like your taxidermist is doing you a great job.

I have done taxidermy all my life & it is rare to see another capture the little details that make a quality mount. Most people don't know the difference in a satisfactory mount & a great mount. The first thing that I noticed was the uplifting in the tip of the ears. That is a detail that most taxidermist overlook. It's obvious your guy has an eye for it. Congrats on getting some great work.
