West Texas Mulies are far better than whitetails IMO.

I prefer MD over whitetail any day, but I do love all venison. Grew up eating nothing but venison and i’ve had a ton of MD from ones that live on sage to alfalfa and they are all delicious IMO, although there is a slight taste difference by what they eat. Like anything else, get the hide off as soon as possible and get the meat cooling off and you’ll never have a complaint.

Rocky mountain mullies are great, I've never had a plains mullie that was good but they all were from sage brush country
