    A day from hell

Today started off perfect, the girlfriend gave me a morning surprise and we hit the road and just drove around to check out there area being as we are new. Day was going great until we went to the heb to get supplies for fondue. We get almost everything leave and come to find out we dont have matches or a lighter so i had to head back. I came back and we started preping things. I was grating cheese but insteade of cheese i grated my finger and sliced the tip off prity good in the medical field we call it a deli finger and the suckers dont stop bleeding. After a half our of bleeding it stoped and we started making fondue. Everything was going smooth until the sterno gel thing started to catch our place mat on fire dont ask me why i had it on there. So i grab a over mit and tried taking it to the sink. In the process of this my mit started to catch fire and i droped the sterno thing oh yea it was still on fire. I caught our carpet on fire and put it out. I dont know why i was not thinking on this great day of valentines day i should know better being a firefighter and all. I had visions of my apt burning down and thought about all the dumb things i have seen in the past and how i am now that dumb guy. Sorry this was so long had to vent and if anyone in the austin area does carpet let me know. And do you know if you can cut out a piece in the middle and place it back with matching carpet?

I'll be a good story to tell the kids and grandkids... I bet it would be awfully hard to match the carpet...these things come out in lots and I'll bet every lot is just a wee bit different.

It looks like the girlfriend had your mind wondering around in other places. That means your perfectly normal.

Hopefully the burn spot in the carpet is heart shaped...

You need to sell that story to a movie producer.
