Interesting.. thank you! .. there has been cattle on this place forever and the deer habitat looks amazing and rubs and sign everywhere. Tons of vegetation on the creek.. of course there is 10 acres of really good grazing coastal i guess that helps

Maybe wildlife is the way for me to go.

Think i also have to take into consideration the 700 acres of pure unbothered cover across the road.

Pretty amazing that cattle and deer have co existed for hundreds of years. Now a feeder and deer blind setup creates experts who sit in them a few hours per day for 2-3 months of hunting season. It is interesting to read

Yes cattle will make trails and walk a lot of stuff down. They can clean up something overgrown pretty quick if over stocked.

This. Is MUCH easier than doing the Ag-exemption thing. Once you get the Wildlife exemption, you're set.

i pulled a card this weekend that had been out since Feb, i had between 30-80 pics per day, morning, evening and night, with up to 11 deer in one pic, for a few weeks, then cows came.

i dont have cows on this spot but every once in a while they get out from the neighbors and mill around on me for a few days. they were on cam from late morning on feb 26 to late morning on feb 28 and between that time i had 2 pics of deer. each one was a single doe passing through the spot.

i had about 20 random deer pics from the 28th to march 5 and then on march 6 i have over 60 pics and they were back to normal.\

our deer dont like cows at all.
