Anyone draw house plans?

The wife and I just recently sold our house and we are on the 50/50 side of building vs buying. I would like to get some bids on what we would like, to see if building would be in our budget. Needing plans to be done to be able to get the bids, although.

I can pm a ROUGH sketch of what we want, if anyone has the free time to throw something that i can present to subs.

Three years back we paid a home designer to draw up our plans. He charged .30 a square foot with all plans needed for the bank. Electric plan etc etc. We were in the Lufkin area.

Figure out your sqft... then find a good builder.... a good builder...... and see what the cost per sqft is going at. Right now its fking high im sure. Lumbers high along with everything else.

150-200 a sqft is most practical id assume right now.
