    Feeder legs sinking?

What have y'all used or found helpful to keep the legs from sinking when the barrel is full of Corn/Protein?

I just got on a lease in Seven Oaks, Tx (Polk County) and my legs sink when corn is added due to softer ground. I'm used to the hill country hunting and haven't ever had this problem.

I've thought of a few ways to do it but wanted to see what y'all have used

weld a piece of rod to a plate at an angle and slip it up into the leg. Sort of like what is posted above but made from scrap laying around

I use pavers from home depot.

I drill a hole in the bottom of the leg and drive a long spike through it at an angle. Not only keeps it from sinking but prevents hogs from knocking it over when it's empty.

Shove each leg into a dry bag of sack-Crete. It will harden over time and serves to prevent sinking and prevent toppling by hogs.

I did build a 8 panel pen around the feeder so hogs won't be a problem.

Since I used galvanized fence posts for legs I put a cap on the end

We use old vegetable or soup cans on the ends.

                        We are super cheap!!!

My buddy had hogs digging out under one leg and knocking his feeders over. Installed these and no more problems.

Pavers unless you want to risk impalement on t-post or rebar

If you have access to wire welder you can cut leg at appropriate angle and tack a junction box cover to the bottom to make a foot
