Yep. For some reason a black/chart spinnerbait has out produced everything else I've thrown in tanks for 30 years, with the 2nd place being a weightless watermelon lizzard.

Beetle spin is a good producer, as well as rooster tails, and road runners.



If anyone has a big private tank they wouldn't mind me bringin my 8 year old out to fish in, I'm all ears! We have a little 2 man plastic boat with trolling motor, and I'll pay! We C&R only unless you want rid of a certain size/species, then we'll do that too!

If you are ever in the panhandle send me a pm. I have a couple of acre pond full of fishingdude’s catfish that will pull a two man boat around. You can even borrow my boat. It’s guaranteed to put a giant smile on any 8 year olds face
