I have not decided on that yet. I think I am going to go with Garmin, but this Tx1 card you are talking about has me intrigued. Is that the card Eric Simmons offers?

I got my card from Eric. It pretty much a high def google earth overlay. When I zoom in I can see where reefs are, deep channels, and even cuts in marshes that you normally would not see.

I have HDS also. Navionics is better than the included maps and Im running a card I bought in or around 2007 in a Gen 2 HDS

Found a few small slots and a monster 18” sand trout here on the island. First time fishing South Padre so I guess it wasn’t too bad. Didn’t get skunked!!! 10-12” Sand trout were plentiful and hungry this morning.
