I mainly fish East and West Matagorda. Just depends where we’re trout fishing. It’s always trout first, mud donkeys second. I thought I had a good winter red pattern down but it ain’t been working this year. Lol. Admittedly, I never intentionally target mud donkeys, always a bycatch for me.

I thought I had a good bead on the trout, then yesterday went out and got my butt kicked. Wish I had had someone guide me on saltwater the way my dad did on hunting/shooting. Figuring it out on my own is taking forever!

Finished 2019 out with a haul!

We cut this 50 hour trip off at 45 hours - limited out - got home before the front blew in.

What kind of $$ is one looking at to get in on that trip? Need to start budgeting for it now, I want in on it next year!!!
