    Threaded Barrel

I am looking to get the barrel on my Sako 300 threaded for a brake and maybe a can later on. I live near Fort Worth. I need some help finding a good gun smith. Thanks.

Morgan threads and cuts all my barrels. He’s top notch.

Ditto on Morgan. He’s done several for me including one clean up job after I had a baffle strike on a 22LR can from factory threading. [emoji35]

What does something like that cost?

It can be gun specific but Morgan used to charge $50 as long as you removed the barreled action from the stock.

That was a few years ago so I imagine he’s gone up a little.

Class three machining for sure. Morgan has my 300wm barrel for my tc pro hunter at the moment getting it threaded.
