Guess I have some shopping to do. I think my policy is $1200 a year for a 2017 30ft Dutchman. Looks like I’m getting screwed!

Actually I just ran my numbers through Rogressive and they quoted $1106 for 12 months. About the same as Geico.

Keep in mind it all depends on how your agent lists your rv. They can put it as an add on with your truck on your policy. You don’t get quite as much extra coverages as you would with a stand alone policy. When I mean stand alone I am saying an rv policy bundled with your other policies.

Liberty Mutual gave me the best deal. Around $300 year for around 20+ G and belongings. But, I have everything insured through them. Home, ATV's, 4 autos, RV, etc.

That probably makes a difference. State Farm just got plain stupid on their prices.

This is a accurate statement . Talking with friends about insuring items like home, auto , boat, Rv etc and just throwing out premiums is impossible to get a good comparison. Everyone’s home, auto, rv etc is all worth different amounts, liability limit is different, etc.

                        About $1,000 a year on a 2013 Class A motorhome with Progressive.

Word of caution to folks who have R.V. covered under a regular auto policy. Your coverage can be limited. Suggest getting a policy tailored for an R.V.

sure it is. and I believe your credit score is a factor as well. and how many previous claims, coverage limits, etc..
