ChL turn around time!

Sent mine in on Jan. 21st...haven't received my letter yet with my PIN.

Alot of the time that there is a long wait is the fact that the FBI does not have a standing file on the applicant. It takes longer because they have to start from scratch. The person that has been in the military or had a previous security clearence will have a quicker turn around than a person that has not.......and if that persons past is clean. What you think was no big deal might cause them to look harder and slow the process down. My first CHL took 13 days from the time I sent it in till my license showed up. Be patient, it will come.

took mine 201 days.

Mailed in my app on June 25 and just got my card in the mail on Thursday!!
