Lord we celebrate this Homecoming where there is Eternal peach and love, where there is no healing to be done, and no setting sun. Lord we ask you to comfort Ron and his family as they mourn their earthly loss, but we also ask you to make their grief short and bearable and that in due time You return to them the opportunity for them to choose Your Joy. Fill the void of this loss with a deeper love for You Lord and a burden for service to Your Kingdom. God Bless them all in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior and Way, Amen.

Sorry to hear this Ron! I have found there aren't many words that will comfort and no matter how much one prepares and knows the end is near, it hurts just as much as if it were sudden.
