        It wouldn’t hurt if your current population is in check. If that were my plans I would start actively harvesting everything I could and then stock with his 8-10” fish. You will have some pures and F1 crosses

          my place is in check - tons of bait fish stocked and some nice natives - up to 6-7lbs - I may just add some F1's and see what happens

                                Here's a crappie Bill did. Was big fish of the year for Crappie Anglers of Texas in 2017 and Bill does a mount for big fish every year! 2.53 from Sandlin in January. Surprised it held on all year actually. We fished Fork. Roberts and Pines that year.
