Smart Key Deadbolt Systems

Anyone have any experience with these? I’m looking to get one to install on our lake house that we use for weekend rentals.

Are you referring to just entering a 4 digit access to unlock the deadbolt?

I have a Yale z-wave lock at my house and the “works with Nest” version of it at my coast house and love them both. Don’t see myself ever not having one and can’t think of a down side. No keys to remember, and if someone needs to be let in I can make them a temporary code on the app and be alerted when it is used. Can also lock/unlock from my phone.

I have one on my house. It's very convenient. No keys in hand. Anyone can unlock the door.

Mainly looking for feedback on the ones that you can create a temporary code for and share with someone. I was reading about the Kwikset Smart key technology today. Apparently you can send someone a code that is only valid for a set time range. It also tracks their usage.
