Heading to Hackberry R&G, eats nearby

So my group is going to Hackberry R&G to fish on Sunday. Where do yall recommend eating for dinner Saturday night. Looking for fresh fish and oysters washed down with a cold beverage. Thanks!

Good friend of mine is a guide at Rod & Gun. Raini Morvan I swear he thinks like a fish.

When I fish with him we go to Steamboat Bills or hit the buffet at the casino.

Steamboat Bills or Firey Crab. For lunch just go to Browns Gro in Hackberry, their food is excellent. I work at Cameron LNG and we get food from there often

Steamboat Bill's. Go to the one downtown, not on I-10. Better and cheaper.

The BEST restaurant in all of Louisiana is Pat's of Henderson there in Lake Charles. I look for an excuse to time trips there so I can stop and eat!

Pats of Henderson, Seafood Palace, Mr. Bill’s Seafood Express, Boiling Point. Mazen’s if you’re looking for something a little more upscale.

Steamboat Bill’s. Only one I’ve been to is the one on I-10. I recommend the boiled shrimp. Comes with corn and potatoes. Asked for melted butter 👍

There’s a small mom and pop restaurant in Sulpher just North if I-10, it’s a coon *** name, I can’t remember and my internet is too slow to search it. It’s on the left as you’re headed North.

                      x 100000

Mazens also has incredible food comparable to Pat's, higher end place as you may need reservations.

It’s not the food you mentioned, but Daryl’s in Lake Chuck makes some **** good samiches, get the Daryl’s Special.

Not a lot of oysters in LC. Since y'all are in hackberry head up to holliers.

All you can eat seafood buffet Saturday night. Probably crawfish on it as well. And plenty of beer.

Boiling point also does a saturday buffet, but not as good as holliers.

Darryls po boys, or Tony's roast beef po boy will do ya right for lunch.
