    2020 Ford GT500 Numbers finally released: 760HP / 625TQ!!

Hopefully the wait will keep the USA horsepower wars alive with the internal combustion engine for a little while longer. Bet GM will drop the 755HP LT5 currently in the ZR1 Vette into the next Gen Camaro which would be cool & the C8 mid engine vette should be around the corner. Dodge has the HP game, but needs a new chassis for the Charger & Challenger or a whole new car that can turn like the Viper. Good stuff.

Can't find any mention of MSRP but betting $80k-$85k but will not be able to own one unless willing to pay close to six figures...stupid Ford Dealers & their ADM along with the fanboys who keep it alive.

While subjective, I like the looks...actually think the GT350R is a little sharper, but Ford did a good job & will be exciting to see the numbers on the tracks.

But will the doors still rattle when you get in?

They fixed that a long time ago. You can bet on that Coyote burning oil though.

My brother has a Shelby Cobra GT a couple of years old. It is the 550 hp model with SVT suspension. That sucker has massive acceleration, but with my back issues, I cannot even ride in it. It has the stiffest suspension I have ever been beat up by.

Not in the Mustang I sat in at the dealership yesterday.

Domestics know how to make power and recently figured out how to make a car turn and brake, but they still struggle to make a good interior.

I am not sure how about a mid engine Corvette. It kind of ruins the whole point of the car, which is a sports car/GT car, not a track day monster, or Italian exotic fighter. It will be fast and cool, and hopefully put some Ferrari's and Lambo's to shame, but it's not a Corvette.

Nice. Thinking about down grading from the Camaro?

I saw a Shelby "Super Snake" F-150 today that looked pretty slick until I saw the exhaust, and I actually laughed out loud. So bad...

Negative...getting ready to upgrade the suspension. The OEM cradle bushings are a little soft & causes the rear end to fishtail at WOT no matter what speed, so I got the BMR lockout kit along upper / lower / trailing arms. Those who have installed say it will point her straight. Also looking at a flex fuel kit by Jannetty Racing but that will be next year if the budget allows.

I don't know why Ford guys will pay over sticker & betting to own one you will have to pay $10k-$20k ADM...I tried to buy a 350R before I found out about the new ZL1 & best I could do was $5k over sticker, and it wasn't like it just hit the showrooms. It was kinda fun getting to tell the once snarky Ford sales guys what I ended up buying under sticker when they called months later ready to deal.

Still, I hope it does well & doesn't have the problems like the 350 on the track. That is a lot of HP for a 5.2!! Competition is a good thing!!

There are a few ZL1s at track days here in Houston. It's amazing how far they have come in the handling department. Used to be a blaze of glory and tire smoke around each corner. Now they are just planted, look as good or better than the M3's on the track.

We just got this 2019 scat pak for son for college graduation.

485 hp is enough for him.
