    48-50 # I believe on my longbow.

Triax maxed at 72 lbs. My Carbon Spyder I put 80 lb limbs on it...set at 80. The arrows coming out of my Triax seem like molasses in the winter compared to them coming out of the Hoyt. Love em both though.

70# is the higher side. My guess is the average is closer to 55-60.

I’ve had 60,65,70,80 pound draw weight bows.

80lbs is really uncalled for, but my oh my what it will do.
60lbs always felt like I was leaving a lot on the table.
                  70lbs is great.
65lbs seems to be the cats meow for me. It’s an excellent happy medium and still get great performance out of today’s bows. With my personal bows, 65lbs feels like 60 on a lot of others. I’ll probably shoot 65 from here on out.

Hoyt Vantage LTD 46' accu-wheel bow shooting finger tab at 57 lbs at 29.5. Was 30 inches, but bow-tech moved it to 29.5 DL get screw in wheel to hold. At 67 years old, I qualified for Hagerman this past season, so that is good enough for me. Arthritis in right shoulder hurts, but I tell myself it will go away.

Reading thru response, I think you are right. Is anyone actually averaging out the answers?
