Caught about a dozen on Waco this morning. All small. Don't think I've caught one even over 14" this year.

But its better than getting skunked.

Back home from the lease trip with another pig KIA. Got some shop time coming up Monday. Then it’s time for lip rippin.

We wore them out at Possum Kingdom this week end. I fished with my two grandsons that are high school fishing teams. We fished mornings and evenings rested during the heat of the day and each time out we killed them on creature baits. Friday we each caught 25 LM Bass Saturday was even better. On one point I caught three fish with three cast all on the same bait. Normally when you catch a lot of fish there are a lot of dinks with an occasion bigger fish, this was the opposite most fish we caught were in the three to four pound range, none over five but one heck of a fishing trip.
I hate killing bass there are normally plenty of sandies, crappie, and catfish to eat but yesterday evening we decided we were going to keep just enough for a fish fry and they were delicious.

That’s good to hear. I live in Graham and have been hearing that PK has been getting a lot better for bass. I’ve just been to Hubbard a few times this year and it’s been good as usual.

Couldnt find the bass on Waco tonight. But found the whites. At least 40 before sunset !
