Took my daughter to the rotating sushi bar in North Austin. First off it's a pretty neat thing to do. I won't lie....I was excited to watch all the food go by. I love watching what others order and at this place it all goes by you!
The first thing we grabbed was a golden crunchy roll and it was amazing. Then a rainbow roll (daughters favorite of the night and took second place for me). But then it went downhill fast LOL We tried a couple things that were just bad. I think it was the spicy garlic tempura philly roll and then maybe the shrimp roll (I think it was the mayo that made it gross)
Then we went back to the what we first started with. Tried lots of ok stuff in the middle.
Overall food got a rating of 6 or 7 compared to Sushi Fever (where we normally eat)
Experience and fun ranked pretty high.. Maybe a 9
We may do it again and order more select specialty stuff.
