Optima battery deals?

I think Optima is still a good battery. Still 99% lead as far as I know. The batteries plus brand X2 is a little better because they have a little more lead. 60 month warranty and you should be able to get 20% off if you buy online and pick up in store and there is currently a $30 mail in rebate on X2’s. Call your local Batteries Plus and try to work a deal, ask for the manager. They sell optima and odyssey as well so you can compare.

Waiting on one to be warrantied now. That said I've had 2 Optimas warrantied and Walmart just gave me a refund and told me to try something else after the 3rd one failed. Bought a Duracell in the old boat but didn't run it long enough to get a feeling for it but st 1/2 the price of the optima or interstate that would be my lean when I gotta buy one.

These seem to be getting pretty good reviews so I did a little research and that the Deka Intimidator 8A31DTM, which is the same as the Sam's Club Duracell 31DTMAGM (179 dollars). At O'Reilly's, it is the AGM31DT. At NAPA, it is BAT 9831DT. They are all the same Deka/East Penn AGM battery.
Sams blows them all away on price.
