What resource is best for deter a boats value when boat, engine and trailer are all different years?

Seems the value is only held by the owners opinion.... lol... boats are so expensive, even the used ones!

I think it is pretty hard to get a good value on a used rig right now. With the new prices continually escalating and the long term financing options for the new boats, used boats are climbing right along with them. I paid $8,500 for my used boat in 2016 and there is no doubt I can sell it easily for $13K and have seen one sell for $17K in the last month.

This is what I’m seeing. Boat in question is not real old but is a discontinued hull that doesn’t show up on NADA etc.

I have worn Google out looking for comps and it seems in line or better with what I found so my son and I are making 8 hr round trip to see and run it tomorrow evening.

NADA isn't accurate anymore, everything on there is way lower than what they're actually selling for today. Certain brands are also regional, Skeeter seems to bring a premium in north/east texas for example but I see them cheaper out of state.

I gave away an Explorer here on TBH a few years back, I hope it’s been a good boat for the purchaser, it was for me. I just never took it out nearly enough and it drove me crazy looking at it sit in my yard not being utilized. You missed a great opportunity,it was in the classifieds forever. I’ve always regretted selling it but I won’t buy another, my friends can take me!
