    ATN X-Sight Pro 4X

Has anyone tried one of these out? Pros, cons? Been thinking about getting one but wanted to hear some unbiased opinions and real world experiences before dropping some money on one.

Got one on layaway right now. Main thing I have heard is software updates. Hopefully I will get to find out for myself by the middle of July.

Was hoping this would get some comments or reviews. I'm looking at these as well as an entry level day/night scope.

        scopes

IMO I would save my money and buy a Pulsar. Just my 2 cents. I've owned ATN's older versions and they sucked, ate batteries, would turn off after you shot, and there was always constantly upgrades which was in PIA.I am sure the new versions are better but look at Lone Star Boars on You tube , he talks about them. I don't own any digital night vision anymore, I just own thermal

I have one and for the money spent, I'm impressed. It takes good day and night videos. a good IR is key. I have the Sniper 66. It is a sit and shoot scope. Meaning if your riding around, you cant scan and detect like a thermal. If you plan to sit in a stand over a feeder, its more than enough.

I have had no issues with mine and have used it quite a bit. Battery like on the 4K is good. I've never had to worry about batt life as long as I plug in charger when done. Which has happened. And coming across 8 sows and no scope, is painful.

The new ones are a lot better than the older generations. They have some really nice features for sure. The one shot zero feature is really handy, and the wireless is as well. I have used the wireless with a child so I can see what they are aiming at. Also have used that feature in reverse, when I was shooting so the child could look and see what I was seeing through the scope.
All in all, they are very difficult to beat at their price point. They are pretty battery hungry, but that can be helped with an external USB battery supply.

Guy at work just got one last Monday and returned it already. He said it kept freezing up and shutting off. He has a replacement coming tomorrow so hopefully he got a lemon....he bought it as an amazon open box buy. I had one in my cart but have at least decided to see if his replacement is good or the same problems exist.
