    Hiring - Shop / Driver DFW

    Guys we need a new shop keeper and driver, the one we have is being advanced into project management. He started 3 years ago and knew absolutely nothing about this trade. He has since learned all materials, foreman, and what we do. I say this to encourage applicants, this position can lead to management.

    We are a commercial light gauge metal framing, drywall, act ceilings, and paint company.

    Work hours - ( and this does flex)
    6:00 am - driving to a project, supplier, or at the shop
    2:30 shut it down

    however, there will be plenty of overtime opportunity / request.

    Your duties will be directed by other project managers and production manager.

    Deliver tools and materials to constructions sites
    Pick up materials at suppliers and deliver to sites
    Maintain 2018 F550 and trailer
    Keep shop clean and organized
    Load and mobilize 19' and 26' scissor lifts
    Be kind and cheerful


    Optional things
    Speak Spanish a plus
    Could take truck home, if you have room


    Must:
    Clean driver record
    Physical fit and able to lift 70 lbs at times
    Maneuvering an F550 with 22' trailer - No cdl required, but a plus

    Compensation
    $20 per hour start, review in 4 weeks.
    No health offered at this time

      If it doesn't require a cdl, then u don't have to use logs

          No logs, trailer connected 50% time.

          The truck is a single cab with 14ft bed.

                  Weirdly enough, I work at an Austin area company that is in the same industry as the OP.

                  I would like to piggyback off his posting and say that if anyone reads this and is interested in the position, but lives in Austin, please shoot me a DM. We could use another driver to do very very similar tasks as listed above. Company name is Central Texas Drywall. Family owned outfit that's been here in town since 1982. Full benefits (401k, health, dental, overtime, etc etc). Thanks.
