Help looking for input on ski resorts!!

Me and my wife and a few other couples are wanting to book a ski trip in the end of February. We’re not wanting to be around a bunch of kids but not something extremely pricey. Where looking at 4nights. Would prefer ski in ski out. Should note that none of us ever been before. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check out Sunlight Ski Resort. It's just south of Glenwood Springs and has some of the best snow in Co. It has great trails for beginners and I know it used to never be crowded. It has a very laid back atmosphere and costs a fraction of what you pay at the more popular mega resorts. There are many lodges that you can stay at and ski right to your door.
For newbies.....I suggest you take at least a half day ski lesson and get after it!!
My family and friends spent every spring break there for over 20 years and it's an unbelievably beautiful area. I have some really fond memories there...you should check it out.

    Good luck.

Sunlight gives you a full day of skiing for about half the cost of the mega resorts. You'll park for free, walk to the lifts, and never stand in line.

Telluride, first week of Feburary.... beautiful town, beautiful resort, and I've been to a buuunnnccchhh of them. The gondola to town proper from ths resort longest in America I think, is spectacular and reason enough to go. Additionally the restaurants are great. I've been to resorts all over Colorado and Utah, and Telluride is on a whole different level

When I read the title, I first thought Breck, then as a read the thread Sunlight came to mind but I wasn't sure what it was like these days. I spent my 21st b-day there, 30 years ago. It is the only place I've ever been that was ski in/out. Smaller place, but zero crowd back then.

Whistler. You would be surprised with the conversion how inexpensive it is to ski there. HUGE mountain and some fantastic skiing.

Every resort has ski in ski out. It's more about how much do you want to pay? That's usually what keeps people from doing ski in ski out.

For my money, I am going to Banff, then Mammoth in MT, then either Utah (Snowbasin), or Breck/Crested Butte.

Every resort does not have ski in-out. Most do.

Breckinridge has a nice wide open beginners area with alot of green trails.

Red River is nice for driving to, smaller, no crowds. Love that town.

Deer Valley in Utah has great ski in and out and the runs are groomed to perfection. Great for beginners but definitely expensive and Park City is a cool town.

I've been to most NM and CO mountains and Copper Mountain is my favorite followed closely by Crested Butte.

A buddy at work has been to a lot of ski resorts and has started going to Granby Ranch Ski Resort lately. Same Colorado skiing and half the price. Ski in/out.

With a number of winter activities, you can enjoy nordic skiing, skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing while immersing yourself in a true mountain experience.

                        Agree.
I've been to Telluride, Aspen, Vail, Beaver Creek, Brackenridge, Keystone, Abasin, Winter Park, Taos, Red River, Ruidoso, and Angel Fire. Telluride is by far my favorite. The town, gondola, and hotels are perfect for couples. The mountain has a wine bar on the See Forever run.

We stayed in a ski in/out hotel on the ski side the first time and stayed in a rental house in town the second time, it was a 200 yard walk to lift and few blocks from food/grocery/drinks. Both were great.

The Canyons in Utah. It is now part of Park City.

Not too sure about the beginner friendly part or "not too pricey" but I don't know a prettier place than Jackson , Wyoming. You can fly right in. Take an elk refuge sleigh ride on your rest day, go to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar and walk around the square.
Not much of a college hang out town.
Melvin Brewing is close by, you could say "Hi" to our friend, one of the brewers there.
Snowmobiling in the Park as well.
You can spend as much as you want to there, budget to 5 star.

I really like copper, but it is a good family destination. Lots of kids.
