My daughter and her husband used to do that. We had some pretty nice little foster “grandkids” but it was hell to see them go. Then we’d get some more and it was even tougher knowing ahead of time that they would leave too. But they finally did what most foster parents do, and found a couple to keep. OP, I don’t know how it’s gonna work out for you but good on you and your wife, and best of luck !
