Don't know how much rain we're up to here in Humble, but it's been pouring down hard most all morning non-stop... Looks like it should be cold outside... like a Winter day... but it's pretty hot and muggy...

I was just thinking that looking out the window. It looks far cooler outside than it is.

Just poured 7.5 out of the rain gauge. It can move on now....wishing it would move on to the Guadalupe and not to the east!

Space City guys saying it's likely Houston conditions will improve here out. I'm looking at a dry I-10 at BW 8 right now.

It's still a long way from dry in Humble!! Looks like the street lights may be coming on any minute here... It did stop raining hard for a bit, but it's not really stopped all day...

Radar starting to light up again this afternoon just in time for evening rush. Hoping to get a little bit out here in Cypress area this evening/tonight, as we are at .40" as it stands now. Still some very ripe conditions for some heavy rainfall again this evening/tonight, and hopefully the areas hit hard already get a break while the others can catch up. We shall see. Feast/Famine as always..

Really nasty stuff setting up from West of Houston to Beaumont. Watch out in the areas where these bands could be setting up.

Hope all of our TBH friends are doing alright over in the Beaumont area. Good grief they are getting hammered over there. Likely pushing widespread 10-12" totals if not much higher. Hoping it lets up soon as it may get really bad there.

A couple of the Hi-Res Meso models are showing a nasty band back towards Harris County sweeping in from the Northeast. Not sure how it pans out, but those models have a good grasp on what is going on now atleast.

A lot of rain and lightning for the past several hours here in Fannett. Golf course weather station showed over 5.5” of rain in one hour. Local weather station says that we have gotten near 15-20” of rain here.

Hamshire is flooding. Numerous homes have water. My new house didn’t flood in Harvey, which is why we bought it since our old home had 4’. But I’m close to flooding again.
