Well, we are in a motel for overnight so we can take Sarge to his post-op checkup at 9:30 tomorrow. He is now the proud owner of a new set of peepers. I have multiple pill bottles, eye drops, and my wallet is considerably lighter, but it was worth it ! For three weeks now I've watched him run over furniture, into door jambs, and having a hard time finding exactly where his food and water was. No more ! He's never climbed a set of stairs in his life, and we're upstairs with no elevator. The first set kinda buffaloed him but after a little help from behind, he negotiated the second set with no problem. Mission accomplished !

We are HOME ! Sarge's post-op visit went very well, Dr. Beaumont said everything looked fine with less inflammation than expected. Sarge acts like he never was blind except he was a little whiny last night at the motel. After what he's been through, can't say as I blame him, I'd probably be whiny too. Lampshade stays on for at least a week, no jumping or running. Tall order for a JRT, but we'll manage. Thanks to everyone for their well wishes
