    Mosquito netting for blinds

Anyone ever hung up netting in their krivo or maverick blinds? I bought some rolled netting intent on using it for the windows to keep the noseeums and blood suckers out of the blinds during my summer exotic hunts. I haven’t figured out exactly how I’m going to hang it over the windows yet.......if you have ideas let me know.

You could get sticky magnets and apply to both the screen and the blind.

    or use duct tape.

Lol. Duct tape fixes everything. So does bailing twine.

No seriously. I think magnets are a great idea!!

Screw these to the top of window frame on inside and to the bottom. Then just stretch netting between and clip

Then just close window over netting when you are not hunting.

I just use binder clips from Office Depot, and clip the netting right to the blind. But, I don’t have those fancy glass windows in my blinds either.

I have a buddy who has regular window screens that he screwed to the window frame in the outside of his Krivoman blinds with the windows installed.

^ This. Use the fiberglass window screen and it doubles as shoot-through mesh.

Maybe you should just get two instead of one Anyway, from my experience, citronella candles work great as a mosquito repellent, been using them indoors and outdoors (mostly in my backyard). I know it may be tricky to use it in the wilderness but you may check some other citronella-based products, it should work fine.

                        Hi mmlreiner,
I’ve been using shoot through netting in all my blinds for years,
I started out using hooks with sticky backs, they would not stay. So I started using pushpins and clothes in the windows on top of the netting. so when you open the windows it always looks the same.
One of my blinds has one wood frames The other is a maverick the pens pushing no problem, after you shoot through a couple times just change out the netting.

There was a thread on here back last Fall about this, and someone found standard window screens that fit on the outside of the Krivoman windows. He put them on his windows with screws on the outside and shot thru the screen. Used the fiberglass black screen material from Lowes and replaced it as needed. I've been going to do this too, but just have not gotten around to it. My intent is to practice shooting thru netting to see how it works before putting up something that is "permanent" on the outside of the blind that I cannot easily take down or open if needed...
